Introducing Tippy Tappy Type Font: A Hand-Drawn, Typewriter-Inspired Delight
In the world of typography, fonts come and go, but some leave a lasting impression. Meet Tippy Tappy Type, a charming, hand-drawn font that embodies the nostalgic feel of typewriter writing. The brainchild of a creative designer, this font is a tribute to the quirks of typing with just the index fingers of each hand – affectionately known as “tippy tappy typing.”
The Story Behind Tippy Tappy Type
In my house, we refer to typing with just the index fingers of each hand as “tippy tappy typing.” I’m not good with my thumbs, so if I have to type on my phone, I prefer to set it down flat and tippy tappy type on it. This unorthodox typing method sparked the idea for a font that’s reminiscent of old-school typewriters. The name “Tippy Tappy Type” seemed perfect for this project, which was entirely drawn by hand and then meticulously cleaned up for optimal printing and cutting performance.
